Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, password (stored securely as a hash), and phone number. If you sign up or log in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google as part of the authentication process.

Profile, Pet, and User Content

We collect information you choose to provide, such as pet profiles (name, breed, age, health and care details), posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, reviews, and other content you upload or share through the feed, marketplace, messaging, and matchmaking features.

Location Information

With your permission, we collect approximate or precise location data to power features such as Pet Services Near Me, Dog Park Communities, and local pet matching. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings; some location-based features may not work without it.

Payment Information

If you make a purchase, list an item in the marketplace, or subscribe to a premium feature, payments are processed by Square. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers — Square handles payment processing and is subject to its own privacy policy.

Usage, Device & Diagnostic Information

We automatically collect information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, general usage activity (pages viewed, features used), and crash/diagnostic data. This helps us maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

Advertising Data

On our website and apps, we may display ads through Google Ad Manager and other ad networks. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve relevant ads.   • To personalize content and, where permitted, show relevant ads
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • To improve and develop new features through aggregated usage analytics

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Sign-In / Google Identity Services — for account authentication
  • Google Ad Manager & Google Analytics — for advertising and usage analytics
  • Square — for payment processing
  • Push notification services (e.g. web push, Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver alerts and messages

7. Children's Privacy

PeThoria is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account and profile information directly in the app, manage notification and location permissions through your device settings, and contact us to exercise additional rights.
